Logistics facilities designing method - a study of a procedure for logistics facilities designing and its OL09 software implementation

Abstract

The paper describes the new logistics facilities designing method, which includes e.g. the procedure for logistics facilities designing and the procedure for optimisation of functional and spatial areas. Some information is given on implementation of the new designing method into the designing software OL09. In case of testing the OL09 software's correctness, the verification of implemented logistics facilities designing procedure hasbeen prepared and described. The verification was done in a way of a case study. As a result, some indicators and rates were compared. It was done using a weight method. While working on a method and implementing it into software, some theoretical and practical aspects connected to the problem were identified. Those aspects are mentioned in the paper's conclusion.
